Hatha Yoga

Current Hatha Yoga Classes

Both Level 1 and 2 Hatha Yoga contain classical yoga postures (asanas) and breath control (pranayama) to improve the health of your body and mind. All classes include detailed information on the body, analysis of asanas relating to specific body systems, and modifications for different body types.

Hatha Yoga

These classes are for students of all ages, and help develop strength, flexibility, endurance, balance and symmetry of the body.

Students will have time to ask questions, go at their own pace and learn ways to heal specific injuries to the body.

Hatha Yoga

 

This class is great for those with little or no yoga experience and for those students who currently have a regular yoga practice. Students progress at their own pace, and move into more challenging poses over time, with detailed instruction and support from our instructors.
Instruction focuses on relaxing the body, quieting the mind, focusing through Intent, rooting, connecting, awareness of breath and expanding, elongating and widening

Hatha Yoga

All the fundamental principles of Hatha Yoga will be expanded upon and reviewed in class, with practical applications and guidance, including:

  • Over 100 yoga postures (asanas, dhandals)
  • Seated, standing and Inversion postures
  • Hatha Yoga, Pranayama Yoga and Chakra Yoga
  • Sun Salutations (and variations)
  • A positive atmosphere to learn and develop your body/mind skills.
  • Increase power, core strength, coordination, balance,
  • Flexibility, flow concentration and endurance
  • Heal old injuries – and learn how to prevent injury
  • Pranayama Yoga (Breathing Techniques)
  • Go at your own pace
  • Modify postures to accommodate your body
  • Warm, comfortable environment
  • A guided, relaxing meditation
  • Body strengthening techniques
  • Lose weight, tone your body and Feel Great
  • Create a balanced physiology
